Basic Driving Clinic at Alberta Carriage Supply – Saturday, May 4th or 5th, 2024
Join us for a dynamic one-day clinic spent with horse enthusiasts and a few gentle giants… Our basic driving clinic provides hands-on experience in how to safely harness and drive horses (single and teams) so both of you are safe and comfortable.
- Expert instruction on how to harness, what the harness parts do, how to adjust your harness and safely hook to a vehicle.
- By the end of the day, you will be driving single and team hitches
- Access to well-trained horses
- Lunch is included in the registration fee
Experience an exhilarating day of driving instruction at our upcoming clinic! Whether you’re a novice or an experienced driver, this clinic promises valuable insights and hands-on learning. Next Step Clinic – May 18th, 2024
Ready to take your driving skills to the next level? Join us for our Next Step Driving Clinic, designed for teamsters eager to transition from basic team and single driving to practical work with their horses.
What to Expect
- Discover the full potential of a working horse’s abilities.
- Learn essential techniques for hooking and working larger hitches 3 & 4 wide and 4 up hitches.
- Gain insights into the science of why long or wide hitches and when to use them.
To participate in the Next Step Driving Clinic, attendees must have prior experience in driving horses or have completed our Basic Horse Driving Clinic. Unsure if you meet the prerequisites? Feel free to reach out to us for clarification.
