Refund and Returns Policy
Return and Exchange Policy:
Returns for refund, in-store credit or exchange are accepted, in certain circumstances, within 30 days from purchase. If it was our mistake or if there was a default in manufacturing, we will pay for return shipping and provide a refund, in-store credit or exchange. If you have simply changed your mind or aren’t happy with your purchase, you are solely responsible for shipping charges for any returned product to Alberta Carriage Supply.
Refunds for returned items will be credited back to the original sale method. It is the sole discretion of Alberta Carriage Supply to deny a return.
Any customer returning products consents to the following:
- Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers (such as Canada Post, USPS, UPS or FedEx) capable of providing tracking numbers and proof of delivery
- The customer will ensure all returned products are in “new” condition, unused and undamaged
- Products are 100% complete and will include original packaging material, manuals and other components provided by Alberta Carriage Supply
- Items that are damaged, used, missing components, or missing the original packaging, stickers, or tags are NOT eligible for return or exchange, no exceptions permitted
- Original shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable
Deposits Policy:
Deposits paid by any customer towards an item that is either in stock or on order are NON-REFUNDABLE. The sum of the deposit will be kept as an in-store credit on that customer’s Alberta Carriage Supply Customer Account.
Deposits and payments made towards a Clinic hosted by Alberta Carriage Supply are NON-REFUNDABLE. If a customer is unable to attend a Clinic they have signed up for, notice is required 24 hours prior to the start of the Clinic to have that customer’s payment converted to an in-store credit on their Alberta Carriage Supply Customer Account. If notice is not received at least 24 hours prior to the Clinic, the payment is forfeit and an in-store credit for the payment will NOT be applicable.
Credits Policy:
The sum of item(s) accepted for return will be refunded (via the original payment method) or kept as an in-store credit on a customer’s Alberta Carriage Supply Customer Account. Credits for shipping charges are not applicable under any circumstance. Credits on customers’ Alberta Carriage Supply Customer Account may be used at any time and may be applied to any item or Clinic that Alberta Carriage Supply offers that is of equal or lesser value. If an item or Clinic being purchased with an in-store credit is greater than the credit value, the customer MUST pay the remaining balance owed immediately.
Shipping Policy:
Overview:
Alberta Carriage Supply is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during or after shipping. Once the items have shipped from the Alberta Carriage Supply store for shipping, Alberta Carriage Supply is no longer responsible for those items or the condition in which they arrive. Returns or exchanges for damaged items are NOT accepted. If shipping an eligible return item, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that your item will arrive in good condition or arrive at all.
A restocking fee will apply. In order for your return to be valid, it must be processed within 30 days of receiving the product. Please remember to use all original packaging materials and to include any accessories that came with the product.
When can you expect to see a refund for your return?
Once we receive your product and inspect it for any damage, you will receive a refund within ten business days. The refunded amount will be the original purchase price less the restocking fee. Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment that was used for the original purchase. For credit card orders, please allow 1-2 billing cycles for your credit to appear.
Shipping a Return for In-store Credit:
If an item is returned for an In-Store Credit via mail, the item must adhere to the requirements outlined in our Return and Exchange Policy section. It is the sole responsibility of the sender/customer to pay the total amount of shipping and handling of the returned item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, an email will be sent to the customer to notify them of whether we have approved or rejected the returned item for an in-store credit. Any returned item received by Alberta Carriage Supply that does not adhere to the Return and Exchange Policy will NOT be eligible for an in-store credit. In the event that this occurs, the item will be held for up to 30 days during which the sender/customer may a) come in to pick up their item or b) pay for the return shipping of that item. After a 30-day period, if the item is not claimed, the item becomes the property of Alberta Carriage Supply.
If the item returned adheres to the requirements outlined in our Return and Exchange Policy section, a refund will be given or an in-store credit will be applied to your Alberta Carriage Supply Customer Account for the item. Shipping charges will not be included in the refund/credit if the item was shipped to the customer originally.
Shipping a Return for an Exchange:
If an item is returned for an Exchange via mail, the item must adhere to the requirements outlined in our Return and Exchange Policy section. It is the sole responsibility of the sender/customer to pay the total amount of shipping and handling of the returned item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If the item returned for refund/exchange adheres to the requirements outlined in our Return and Exchange Policy section, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to pay the total amount of shipping and handling for the exchanged item. Once payment for shipping is received, the exchange item will be scheduled for delivery immediately.
Items not eligible for refund, exchange, or in-store credit:
Gift Cards or items that are listed as Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange, no exceptions permitted. Shipping costs, if applicable, will not be accounted for when applying an in-store credit to a customer’s Alberta Carriage Supply Customer Account.
