White Horse 832 Rigid Beam 2-Way Sulky Plow
White Horse 832 Rigid Beam 2-Way Sulky Plow
The White Horse 832 Rigid Beam 2-Way Sulky Plow is a heavy-duty horse-drawn plow designed to plow in both directions, allowing the operator to turn the soil back the opposite way on each return pass. This eliminates dead furrows in the middle of the field and makes the 832 particularly useful for narrow fields, strip farming, produce operations, and hillside plowing.
The rigid-beam design provides a simple, durable alternative to the leaf spring reset version. High-tensile steel is used in high-stress areas such as the beams and axles for dependable service under regular field use.
Features include:
- Two-way sulky plow design
- Heavy-duty rigid beams
- Plows in both directions
- Eliminates center dead furrows
- Keystone #4, Keystone #5, Oliver or John Deere bottoms available
- Ground-driven mechanical clutch lift
- Foot-operated lift for hands-free operation
- High-tensile steel beams and axles
- Roller-bearing wheels
- Hand-lever steering for fine adjustment of plowing width
- Operator platform and cushion seat
- Spring-cushioned draft hitch
- Tongue and neck yoke
- Built-in toolbox
The 832 Rigid Beam 2-Way Sulky Plow is especially useful where maintaining a consistent direction of soil movement is important. Its ability to plow the same furrow in either direction makes it an excellent choice for hillsides, narrow strips and double-cropping operations, while the rigid-beam construction provides a straightforward and durable setup for ground where automatic rock protection is not required.
